Greg, Devon and the Beestro team ALWAYS deliver! The food is outstanding, innovative and delicious. Thanks for bringing your talents to Santa Fe!

Everything I've had here has been good, fresh, tasty. I recommend "The Rachel," which is a Reuben stuffed with coleslaw. Salads are generous, desserts are fresh-baked. A great spot to take-out for lunch.
(5)Gabriel G.
What a great concept! The food is great! So is the staff! Will be here more often!

What a find! Being in the tourism business here in the Santa Fe area I hear just about everything as far as food, hotels and entertainment. I herd about the Beestro the other day from one of my customers, so I thought I would give it a try. I was greeted by the most friendly people. I had a great cup of coffee and a bowl of their wonderful soup, and a shrimp tortellini salad to go. Everything was wonderful! No wait, great customer service and wonderful food! I highly recommend the Beestro, for a full meal or just a snack.

I am obsessed. I pick up lunch at least 3X week. Greg is friendly, but most importantly, extremely talented. The food is super fresh, uniquely flavorful and generally outstanding! I cannot overstate how much I love this place. By far, best lunch in town.
(5)Rachel E.
In Santa Fe for work and happened upon this place- had the best tuna fish sanwhich I have ever had- the chef obviously cares a great deal about his creations- friendly atmosphere too. trying to re- create the sandwich at home!

Great for a casual, healthy lunch We had vegetarian paninis that were great: wrapped in Mediterranean-style bread and toasted. The veggies were cut small, unlike most places that serve big chunks of eggplant, etc. that you have to bite through. Lentil soup was very good, too. Staff is very friendly and efficient. You could see lots of locals grabbing lunches to go.

I'd been by here before and had a cup of soup and I've been wanting to return for a sandwich. So last week I skate downtown for lunch and I do it jimmy! I ordered the Dutch Chicken sandwich with a cup of coconut curry soup and some tater chips, the combo. It was delicious. The which had apples and some delicious cheese and their soups are on point so far. The spot though, it's a whole in the wall. I don't even think they have a kitchen, probably an off site commercial kitchen and they grill em on site and keep the soup hot. There's an upstairs room if you wanna dine in, one table downstairs and some benches outside, literally a walk up place. This is a hot spot for locals wanting quality lunch at a not so Santa Fe price, check it out.

Grounded little sandwich shop. Ok panini palace. I liked the place and the Mushroom soup was delish. But the Paninis are so small. If they were bigger I'd give them four stars. Good to grab a bite while touring downtown Santa Fe

Made a quick stop here to get out of a summer rainstorm. I grabbed an iced Americano and a free cookie (courtesy of Yelp). The coffee tasted great, as did the cookie. The folks behind the counter encouraged me to stop by for lunch, which I will probably do once I find myself in this neck of the woods again.

My favorite place for something healthy in Santa Fe. My first several meals were surprisingly fattening and greasy. Glad to find Beestro. I got the ahi tuna salad and it was perfect in terms of size, big enough for a lunch. The bread was also warm and fresh too. Can't wait to try the crepe next time.
(5)Steve D.
Delicious Buffalo Frito Pie, awesome customer service and a great little spot off the plaza. The Chef (didn't get his name) was out front helping with orders and chatting it up with customers. Highly recommended. Get a cookie on the way out.
(5)Phil B.
We love going to Santa Fe and now we have a favorite restaurant when we go. The Beestro was a great find, the food is awesome and the staff was great. The menu was particularly great for Mrs B. who is gluten intolerant. We highly recommend the Beestro.
(5)Libbie C.
Great food. The price seemed a dollar too high in addition to the "dinning room" being a little weird. The combination of the two made me like it but not love it. I had the paleo lamb salad and iced tea. With tip a little over $16.

My new favorite escape from traditional New Mexican fare! At the time of this review, I've lived in Santa Fe for almost five years. I'm a California native, raised in Oregon, with a distinct west-coast palate. While I can be adventurous and do appreciate regional flair, I must admit the ceaseless parade of red and green chile in everything becomes tiresome. So when I stumbled across this crêperie a few short blocks from the Plaza, I thought, why not? It was just after 5 PM so The Beestro had just opened for dinner. Turns out I was in for a treat. During the day The Beestro is a walk-up, take-out only breakfast & lunch style eatery. In the evening, they pull out all the stops... There is a more formal dining area open upstairs, drawing you in with courteous wait staff, soft French music and a distinct romantic ambience I've only experienced before in two places: Manhattan, and Paris. It just gets better: the menu is quite different from their breakfast and lunch. Each item sounded tantalizingly unique! I started with the French Onion Soup, and a Scottish hard cider. The soup was divine! Perfectly prepared. The waitress assured me it was the best in Santa Fe; I believe it to be the best French Onion Soup I have ever had. My main course was a Spinach and Mushroom savory crepe. This, too, was anything but plain. Finished with with a dollop of tzatziki sauce and fresh dill; the freshly-made Provençal tomato salsa served on the side was a surprisingly delicious complement. I was completely delighted and satisfied with my menu choices. I can't wait to return! Bravo, The Beestro - dinners with you will now forever be most welcome escapes to delectable Parisian dining sophistication.

This is a special place for latte and a cookie. Terrific, friendly staff. The beestro is adorable looking too!! We want to come back soon to try lunch.
(5)Karen C.
What a great find! Delicious sandwiches & coffee (plus soups & salads) with proceeds going to save honeybees.
(5)Kevin C.
If your in Santa Fe and feel like enjoying a delicious sandwich make "The Beestro" your lunch stop. Can't make up your mind, try the Cubano.
(5)Mitchell T.
Great place. The Mocha Latte was great. 4 shots normal, I got a 5th :) I also picked up a cookie, nice and fresh. It's a little tight down stairs, so expect to get cozy with other patrons, but the ladies are cute, so it's not too bad! I didn't have any sandwiches, but they prepare them right there and the ingredients looked fresh.
(5)Ramya M.
The crepes! Cojeta crepe was drowned in gooey caramel goodness and the toasted Pinons add just the right amount of crunch. Tangy fresh strawberries were folded in with cream in the strawberries and cream crepe which was just as good. Their vanilla bean ice cream perfectly complements the chewy crepes. Service was spot on though food took it's own sweet time to arrive. However, it was worth the wait. If I ever go back to Santa Fe, this place will be on my list, if it's not the reason to go back to Santa Fe in the first place!
(5)Galec V.
A ham and cheese sandwich with one layer of ham and one of cheese. Nice taste. A hint of horseradish. Salmon salad with very varied greens. More than enough salmon. Dressing couldnl have been more vinegary. Small ordering section downstairs and barebone but warm do it yourself tables upstairs. P.S. Don't expect the free cookie. My location could not be identified even though I was sitting in the restaurant..l

Great French onion soup, tasteful sandwiches, Attentive staff, great customer service
(5)Diamond B.
Coming from Phoenix AZ, just have to say WOW!!! Very simple ingredients and just amazing taste!!!

The Beestro is the favorite lunch place for the locals who work in the area. The food is delicious with clearly superior fresh ingredients. Yum! I happen to love that they are food allergy/ intolerance friendly - diary-free, gluten-free, vegan etc. Working in the area I call ahead with my order as they publish the daily menu online. If you are planning on getting there much after the 12-1 lunch hour it is wise to do so as they can be very picked clean by the hoards of hungry people. I once got there at 2:30pm and only had a spicy split pea soup to choose from in the dairy free department. It was, however, completely delicious so I wasn't that upset at all. I do have a goal of trying the dinner crepes and was given a coupon by the lovely owner one day. I have yet to be upstairs and it's on my list of to-dos. And that's the other thing about Beestro, all the staff I've met have been great and even completely tolerant of my hurriedly picking up breakfast and lunch early before work and dashing off. Really great place!
(4)Larry Y.
Best place to eat near the plaza .. Try the kafta sandwich I have had many around the world but not as delicious as this one . Great staff . Very nice and treat you as if your family . Can't wait to go again tomorrow found my new spot .
(5)Matt A.
Went because of the perfect Yelp rating, but this place did not pass muster. We ordered at a counter, but it was frantic and confusing. The menu didn't have descriptions by the names of the sandwiches. They were out of at least one item at 1230 on a Friday. Drinks were hard to find. Seating was weird, basically two tables in the middle of the chaos or upstairs in a construction zone. The food: just ok. Grilled cheese was overlooked. The rest was kind of fine. Nothing to write home about. Travelers that are looking for great food unique to Santa Fe- hit others on your list first. There are too many food options to waste a meal here. This is a 2.5 rating, if I could. Beeeeeee advised.
(3)Noam F.
Just came into town and bumped into a cute and extremely tasty cafe. Would strongly recommend for any foodie as the beestra takes risk that combine deliciously. I had the m80 which is their super spicy chicken sandwich- spicy but not over the top. The vanilla steamer was a nice sweet treat that parallels hot chocolate but is made with vanilla. I will be back here at some point in this life journey.
(5)Anne C.
Trying to find somewhere off of the plaza in Santa Fe and came across this wonderful place. We split a Cubano panini and it was out of this world great!!!! Fresher brewed ice tea and the perfect lunch. Was a picture out of Food Network as the owner chef came out to greet us. Highly recommend
(5)Jill H.
Man, this place was great! We were looking for a lighter option after some heavier meals, and this was it! Came for dinner, which has a different menu than lunch (more crepe options, it seems) Got the Dutch Chicken panini and the smoked salmon crepe. Both were AMAZING! The apple butter on the panini really made it unique, and the creme fraiche served with the crepe was the icing on the cake! Very small seating area, so I definitely recommend reservations!

Awesome service Street front dining North of plaza Good breakfast and lunch Friendly staff Fresh and tasty Great find
(5)Erin M.
Great for an afternoon snack or a light lunch!! Soup was some of the best I've ever had and everything tastes very fresh.
(4)Lena K.
Adorable, stylish place with delicious coffee and breakfast, reminiscent of European cafes. The staff was energetic and enthusiastic, obviously proud of their food. Our panini sandwiches were delicious. If you'd like to sit and sip your coffee, there is space on the second floor with a star-shaped window.
(4)M F.
Nice spot for a quick lunch to grab or eat in the upstairs room (only a couple tables outside unfortunately). Had the cobb wrap and the paleo salmon salad. Everything is pre-made, waiting for you in the refrigerator case, but it's good quality and the panini's can be warmed up. Lots of yummy cookie choices and drinks. This is great for quick, inexpensive lunch. Did not try the coffee...
(4)Becky O.
Cute quaint place. Chef and owner is extremely friendly (as well as all staff) and takes pride in his food. Small menu but all sound great! I had the Spinach Mushroom Crepe and French Onion Soup. Both were good. Split the chocolate Grand Mariner Crepe and it was good too. Definitely would go back. Know that it is small and can be busy with a wait in high times.
(5)Samuel C.
Gave this place a few tries. The sandwiches are just not my cup of tea. They are lacking in good taste. This is not a very nice place for a sit down meal. Prices are fairly high for what it is.
(2)Matt B.
WOW! The new night service with the crepe menu and it's like a completely different place. Upstairs is transformed in to a really cute dinner place with table cloths, candles and silver wear. Didn't even recognize the place. The crepes are fantastic and though not a big wine list, the few they have are all very good. There is also a fairly big selection of ciders. We were very impressed and will definitely be back!

I'm a broker at Keller Williams Realty, which is only 93 steps from The Beestro. Love this place and lunch there at least one day per week (usually more). Great soups, always, and affordable, which is saying a lot in downtown Santa Fe. Haven't tried the creperie (at night), but it's on my list.
(5)Sarah J.
The Beestro is a very small sandwich shop. When you first enter, there is about 4 ft of space between the door and the counter, so lunchtime quickly becomes overwhelming. The seating is all upstairs if you don't take your meal to go. The sandwiches are partially premade, they assemble all of the ingredients beforehand, but don't warm it up until you order. Despite the sandwiches being (nearly) ready-to-go, I felt like it took a while to have mine prepared. I did go at a lunch rush, though, so I'm sure the 3 employees there were just overburdened at the time though. The setup of the restaurant gets frustrating easily when it gets crowded. It is too small to have a real line form, so everyone just ends up getting squished together. Then, once you order, you feel the need to get out of the way for the next person to order, so you end up standing awkwardly to the side or on the stairs just trying to get out of the way. I think my particular visit was a bit of a phenomenon, I heard they usually don't get that busy, but it was still a bit annoying to be a part of it. My suggestion would be to wait for off peak hours to eat. When I finally (finally!) got my sandwich, it was delicious. It was difficult to select just one to have, but I finally decided on the pork and brie. The bread was nice and crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside. There was also a nice selection of chips to go with your meal. I ended up with the spicy pickle ones which did have a nice flavor to them.

We LOVED this place! We first stopped by to get a latte to end the evening. They graciously gave us a tour of the small place and a look at the menu and an intro to the staff. We were smitten! We came back a couple of nights later for dinner. We had the Tunisian Hummus Plate appetizer (YUM!). Scott had the Ahi Nicoise, a yummy salad with seared ahi tuna with Herb de Provence. I had the Spinach & Mushroom savory crepe. ALL to die for!! Then we had The Cajeta sweet crepe with organic New Mexico goat milk caramel, vanilla bean ice cream, toasted pinon an whipped cream for dessert. And decaf. Needless to say, we were miserably/wonderfully stuffed. We are going back!! A wonderful stop just a block from the square.

Excellent French Onion Soup. The Chicken sandwich was so overseasoned that it was almost inedible. Great service. Fun atmosphere. Reminded me of a tiny restaurant in London I used to frequent back in the 80s. I'll go back...but no chicken sand next time around.
(4)Jacqueline C.
The veggie panini was one of the best I've had! Very friendly staff and chef. Perfect atmosphere for grabbing a bite on a sunny day in Santa Fe.
(5)Jing-Wu C.
The panini is really good.

Once again, Yelp comes through. I was poking around near the plaza, wanted something to eat that wouldn't break the bank, preferably on the healthy side. Pulled up this place and went for it. Truth be told, this was my second try at the Beestro, as the first attempt I made to eat here the place was packed (usually a pretty good sign). When I did make it in, there was a table open (there are only two) and no line. Score. They make new items everyday, and most of it is geared to the on-the-go local take-away crowd. Salads, sandwiches, and the like. I opted for a Greek chicken salad and it was awesome. They had it pre-made, and the service was very friendly. Things to know: this place is very, very small (see supra). It is also extremely popular with everyone in the neighborhood. If you can snag one of the two tables to sit at, take your time and do some people watching. Santa Fe is happening right in front of you. Dog lovers: they have a doggy water bowl for your pooch. Price is super reasonable given the quality of ingredients. They don't have fresh iced tea yet, but they're working on it (they have a cooler of other items in the meantime). Great place.
(5)Tony A.
They just started serving crepes for dinner. The spinach and mushroom crepe is awesome and for desert...Nutella and banana crepe...heaven!
(5)Tom R.
I just saw this new place in town and decided to check it out. Glad I did! The entrées and sandwiches are delicious and the staff is great. Check it out!
(5)Aman S.
Lots of cool sandwiches and soups to try cute little day time spot to grab lunch.
(4)Laura H.
What a great addition to Sante Fe, where most of the dining options are underwhelming and over priced. This is neither. The food is unique and well prepared. The wines well chosen and affordable. We loved everything about this place, if only we lived closer.
(5)Ashley T.
What a wonderful place! I came here for dinner with my husband after finding it here on yelp. First of all, the bread and salty, perfectly soft butter we received upon seating was perfection. I was worried that savory crepes and salads would be too light and lunchy for the evening but was I ever wrong. The portions were substantial and the service was above and beyond. Decent wine list, adorable dining room. Highly recommend.
(5)Barrie B.
Great! We had dinner last night. I was glad to see they take online reservations and you really need reservations since it is a small place. We both started with French onion soup - maybe the best I've had. I had a salmon crepe which was served cold so that was a little bit of a surprise but it was fantastic. My husband had the galette francais with ham, Gruyere and a sunny side up egg (the table next to us ordered that minus the egg, no problem). Nice wine menu, limited beer choices. They feature hard ciders mostly from France. We were too full for dessert - next time! It felt very French, right on Marcy St in Santa Fe!
(5)Chris T.
Gem of a cafe in downtown Santa Fe. Thanks to yelp we found this place on the first day of our vacation and loved it so much we went back every day of our five day stay. Delicious sandwich combinations and amazing afogato (vanilla ice cream with a double shot of espresso). Sublime.
(5)Yvonne C.
It was cool outside so I ordered a hot veggie panini. ..boy was it hot and better than I expected. ..eggplant zucchini red pepper mushrooms broccoli and spinach with goat cheese and red sauce on the side. They close at 4 or I would be there for dinner. ..
(4)Virgil H.
Great food and wonderful staff. There was 6 of us for a late lunch. We ordered Rubens, beef sandwich, Asian beef salad, grilled cheese and the butternut soup. It was all fantastic, no complaints! What made the engagement extra special, one of the ladies working there suggested we dine upstairs; I suggested that we could not since there were stairs and my 94 year old mother uses a walker and my wife a cane so the stairs were out. She offered an elevator and then escorted is to the elevator to the dining room and the brought our food. Went the extra. Highly recommend!
(5)Chris C.
I.Love.This.Tuna.Melt. And just about everything the Beestro makes. It is a small, yet classy, quirky counter service in downtown Santa Fe. They have a small room for seating upstairs and a spunky Kiwi is there to take your order. It is a great lunch spot, with super fresh ingredients and inventive daily specials. Beestro has unique sodas and refreshments, too. They can get busy, so calling in an order can be helpful. They make great bag lunches to go enjoy in a sunny Santa Fe park!
(5)Dean G.
What a terrific place for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or any lull in an afternoon that is best filled with food and coffee! My wife and I visited Beestro just before leaving Santa Fe after a wonderful week there, and we had a few hours to kill before going to the airport. The people were kind, the atmosphere was great, and (best of all) the food was delicious. I had the grilled veggie panini. It was so good. The veggies were soft and earthy, while the cheese was smooth and stringy. Served pipping hot with a spicy sauce on the side, it was excellent. My wife had an asian salad with fried tofu. It too was wonderful: the noodles and tofu and the tangy soy-sauce dressing worked together perfectly. It was also quite large (as was the sandwich, which I always appreciate). Finally, we shared a small cup of soup, which was rich and satisfying. The coffee was also pretty good. My wife had a cappuccino and I had a plain cup of black coffee. The cappuccino was well done, and the coffee tasted good (although maybe a tad overpriced). We sipped coffee and read books upstairs in the dining room, which was a wonderful way to spend two hours. [As of this writing, the dining room was unfinished, since the shop is brand new. But, the view was excellent, and there are interior windows that give a view of the menu and counter below.] Beestro was great, and I highly recommend stopping by. Unfortunately, we didn't have a chance to sample the honey. But I imagine it's great as well. Beestro is a wonderful addition to the middle of Santa Fe.
(5)Darian F.
Great place to eat...period. we had a greek flatbread and green chile. They are passionate about the food they serve.
(5)Brian B.
We went for a dessert crepe after a so-so dinner at Taberna. We shared an amazing strawberry and creme crepe, the best crepe I've ever had. Glasses of wine were literally half the price of Taberna and we had an excellent Prosecco to accompany the crepe. Staff attitude and service were also excellent, even more so given that they had been slammed all day due to a favorable review in the local paper.
(5)Deirdre H.
Truly a warm and wonderful experience. Dinner on only the 4th night of serving dinner was serene & seamless. Great food; great service; charming room. We will definitely be back!
(5)The H.
The food and service were excellent. My wife had the chicken salad and I had a crepe, both were delicious and worth the price. It is on the top of our list of Santa Fe restaurants.
(5)Jeff B.
Stopped in for lunch while visiting, fantastic food! Looks like they are still building the dining room, but the food was some of the best we've had in Santa Fe!
(5)Ralph A.
Santa Fe doesn't seem to ever change, so imagine my delight when I noticed that the usual froyo location had just changed to a new sandwich shop called the Beestro. Finally, another culinary option to the all-too-familiar lunch spots. Working near the Plaza, I've gotten way too familiar with Del Charro's menu and frequented the fajita cart one too many times. The good news is that the food at Beestro is good! Good enough to be slotted as part of my usual lunch rotation. They provide sandwiches ($8), salads ($10), and soup ($4-6). I had the vegetable panini filled with sliced portobello mushrooms, grilled zucchini, fried eggplant, roasted red bell peppers, and goat cheese on house made foccaccia. Yea, right?! They had me at fried eggplant and finished me off with goat cheese. Best part is that they grill it on the spot panini style. Awesome sandwich highly recommend it. The coworker had their cold italian cold cut and was raving about the salami that they used. The pick up and back to my desk was no more than 15 minutes, so totally an option during the crazy hectic days (oh, and I guess they deliver too). Enjoy em before the summer comes back and gets replaced by the froyo shop!
